Dear Magic friends,
It's that time again: Team Geissgrind is inviting you back to the Festung Naters on June 19, 2027 for the 2nd edition of the Urza's Caverna Cup. After such a great first year in the mountain, we're heading back in to spend another special day together.
Festung Naters – secretly built as a military stronghold in 1934 – is today a place for culture and gathering. Three museums call it home, and for one day the Kultursaal La Caverna belongs to us again. A one-of-a-kind setting that breathes history and simply suits Old School perfectly.
Format: Swedish Old School
We stay true to our 93/94 roots, but open things up a little: all cards in the old frame are allowed – including Gold Border and CE/ICE. That way everyone can join in without losing that Old School charm.
Valais flavor
No Geissgrind event without good food and drink: expect Valais specialties – hearty and liquid. Because sure, the matches matter, but the breaks in between are at least as nice.
Why we do this
Because it's more than a tournament. It's about being together, playing, laughing – and spending a day together that you'll be glad to remember.
